Creating a Blog to Track Your Loan Mod Journey

There are lots of great free tools out on the internet that you can use to communicate what you’re going through. Popular free blogging tools are Wordpress.com (the .com version) and Blogger. I’m going to walk you through a very quick example of how to setup a Blogger blog that is absolutely free and will allow you to get the word out about your loan modification journey.

#1 Go to Blogger
#2 Click on Start
#3 Enter Your Email Address
#4 Enter Your Password
#5 Create a Display Name – the name you use to sign your blog posts
#6 Create a Blog Title – for example, “Steve’s Loan Modification Journey”
#7 Create a URL for your Blog – I recommend using the same words as your title
#8 Choose a Free Template – don’t worry you can always change this later
#9 Start Blogging!

It’s really simple to create your own blog about loan mods and get the word out so other people know what you’re going through. You can make posts, exchange links with other people going through the same thing and you might develop a following if you diligently post and get other people to read your material.

This Loan Modification blog I have is a self hosted version of Wordpress.org. It takes more work to set up, but allows your more flexibility than a free Blogger blog. If you have any questions about setting up a blog – send me an email and I will try to help.
